Here I am under my new lamp post, complete for the season with it’s own mistletoe. I’m waiting for my husband to come in world so I can use it. (Thanks, but no volunteers please.) A big thanks to DrFran Babcock for teaching me how to build this at Mystical Mastery. You can join the group and build cool things too.

This is the very talented Vitolo Rossini. We’re at Canis Beach Dog Park celebrating the holiday season. Vito is a very talented dog trainer in SL. If you want to see the finest virtual dogs, stop by Canis Beach. I’m hoping to return soon for my Christmas dog!

Silly in Luskwood/Beauty in ElvenMoor
Posted by Finnella under Uncategorized | Tags: Elf Circle, Luskwood, Second Life |Leave a Comment
I thought I’d start out Sunday morning by taking a class but my friend Chado pulled me out to see a totem pole. Well, as it turned out, he wanted me to be part of a furry totem pole. We didn’t break the Luskwood record, which I understand is 20. We only reached 17. But it was silly and fun. The picture below is from our second attempt. We had fewer Avs, so we danced. I think this is the second silliest thing I’ve done in SL. (If anyone is wondering, watching the giant snail races is number one on my silly list.)
Later I saw a beautiful performance in ElvenMoor. While I was impressed with the ballet in SL, Windows, this performance topped the ballet. There was dancing, beautiful particle effects, and gymnastics. It was fabulous; another wonderful event in Elf Circle’s Holiday Charity weekend. Of the events I was able to attend, this one was the high point. The group is The ChangHigh Trinity Sisters.

A beatiful dance to celebrate Elf Circles’s Charity Weekend. WIth special effects and gymnastics for good measure. An amazing display unlike anything I’ve seen in SL so far.

I missed Hali Heron yet again.

Well once again I got TP’d away before I could listen to Hali Heron perform. I only heard great stuff from his last apperance in Raglan Shire, so maybe someday I’ll get lucky. For the brief amount of time I was there, I can say the music sounded good, the tinies were dancing like crazy, and I looked cute in my little blue snowsuit. My apologies for mis-spelling Hali’s name in the original post; at least the heading and tags are correct now. While I was sorry to go, when you get a TP to a prayer meeting, what do you do? In my case, I said yes. One crash and 2 TPs later, I was at the prayer meeting in Wings of Hope.
